The position

We are currently recruiting for a Rigger foreman. In this role you are the important link between the crane operators and the team of riggers who carry out the work on the deck. You also work closely with colleagues who work in the engine room and on the bridge. Is this a job for you and do you also have offshore experience? Please keep on reading!

Key responsibilities

• Intervene in dangerous situations;
• Proactively contribute to the safety regime on the vessel;
• Lead the rigger team based on the instructions of the crane operators;
• Organizing and supervising the designated rigging and construction work;
• Carrying out construction activities in a safe manner in accordance with our customer's procedures.

What do you need for this role?

• Bachelor work and thinking level;
• You speak and write fluent English;
• You can lead a team and ensure that the entire team is involved;
• At least two years of experience as a foreman rigger or deck foreman.

Qualifications

• Banksman Nogepa;
• Survival (Bosiet or FOET)
• Rigger certificates (latter stages)
• Medical offshore (or a similar certificate such as OGUK, Norwegian or Nogepa)
• Full GWO (First Aid, Working at Height, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness and Sea Survival).
