The position

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Equipment Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical equipment, performing routine inspections, and ensuring that all equipment is working safely and efficiently. The candidate should be familiar with industrial electrical systems and have experience in troubleshooting and maintenance of electrical systems.

Key responsibilities:

• Install, maintain and repair electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical problems in industrial systems and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on electrical equipment to identify and prevent potential failures.
• Ensure that all electrical systems are in compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on electrical systems and equipment.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure that all electrical systems are operating efficiently.

Capability profile / Qualifications

• Diploma or Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience as an Electrical Equipment Technician.
• Knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLC programming and motor controls.
• Experience in troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems and equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices related to electrical systems and equipment.
