The position

Are you not afraid of heights and do you enjoy those beautiful sea views every time? Do you have the right diplomas, excellent communication skills and is a heavy duty no problem for you? Then read on, we are looking for an offshore crane operator for one of our clients. 

Key responsibilities

• Lifting operation;
• Crane inspection;
• Monitor before lifting;
• Assisting the barge master;
• To assist with reeving activities;
• Assist the assistant chief engineer or chief electrician;
• Strictly observe the emergency stop signs, radio and hand signals;
• To validate proper choice of rigging and monitor position of hook related to the objects to be hoisted and rectify if necessary.

Qualifications

• VCA;
• Medical offshore
• Crane operator level 3
• Survival (Bosiet or FOET);
• Full GWO (First Aid, Working at Height, Manual Handling, Fire Awareness and Sea Survival).
